Synopsis

After a year since we last saw her in Archer's Peak, Erica Slaughter resurfaces to take on the case of a girl who's seen a new kind of monster, one with terrifying implications. But Erica's broken ties with the House of Slaughter and that can have deadly consequences.

The Order of St. George does not forget nor do they forgive. Even as Erica goes on the hunt, she must keep an eye out for the mysterious figure on her trail in order to survive the coming storm.

Plot

Covered in blood and sitting in the back of a police car, a traumatized Gabi Lopez demands a lawyer. The Sheriff, Thomas Carter, assures her that she's not a suspect, since she was on camera at a different location when her family was murdered. Carter asks her what she had seen, but Gabi only asks for a lawyer again.

Riqui opens up her bar for the night, The Luck of the Irish. She greets the regular customers Luis and Pablo, the latter of whom consistently tries to marry Riqui, who always turns him down. Gabi enters and tries to order a "whiskey lemonade," announcing that her whole family is dead to a terrified Riqui. Carter asks Riqui to take the girl in for a few nights, as he explains how he found the original scene, where Gabi's mother, grandmother and sisters were found torn apart in their home. Upset at the description, Gabi screams at Carter to shut up and kicks his stool over, knocking his head against the bar. They shout at each other, and Gabi runs outside.

In the back alley of the bar, Gabi thinks about the monster she saw carrying her sister's body, and how she'd seen a giant eye in its shoulder. As she slides to the floor, she is approached by Erica Slaughter.
